Precautions for installing shelves in Suzhou
The production of shelves in Suzhou should choose a manufacturer with good quality and reputation. Installation is also very important, but often people tend to overlook the issue of shelf installation. The overall impression is that the shelf structure is simple and the installation is simple. Actually, it's not like that. As the saying goes, three points for quality and seven points for installation. During installation, there are many aspects that cannot be ignored. Below are some issues that Shenyang Rongda Shelf Factory has accumulated during the installation of shelves that need to be noted.
Before purchasing a shelf, there must be a shelf specification design and layout design drawing, which should be designed according to the shelf purpose, goods specifications, etc. For example, overload prevention: the weight of each layer of goods stored should not exceed the larger load-bearing capacity of the shelf design, and overload prevention: The shelf height and width are limited, and the size of the pallet and goods should be slightly less than the net space by 100mm. Anti impact: Forklifts should be handled with care as much as possible during operation. Prevention of head heavy and foot light: The principle of placing light goods at the top and heavy goods at the bottom should be followed, taking into account factors such as usage requirements, equipment conditions, load properties, material supply, and installation conditions. Reasonable selection of structural forms, construction measures, and production materials should be made to achieve advanced technology, economic rationality, safety and applicability, and ensure quality. These are all issues that need to be considered when designing shelves. Everyone should strictly install the design drawings during installation.
Seven installation requirements:
1. When installing shelves, consideration should be given to the deformation caused by uneven weight distribution of goods, the lateral impact caused by the operation of palletizers or forklifts, earthquake intensity fortifications, and self inspection should be carried out during shelf installation.
2. When installing shelves, a safe distance should be left between goods, between goods and shelves, and between goods and fire pipes, leaving space for fire sprinklers. This is a problem that is easily overlooked.
3. The dimensional tolerances, deformations, and clearances of the shelves should comply with relevant standards.
4. There are strict installation procedures, and whether installing shelf structures in durability limit states or high load limit states, they must comply with relevant standards. The strength, stiffness, and stability of the shelves should be composite, and the installation performance under earthquake action should be comprehensively assessed. A universal calculation should be performed for standard shelves that are reused.
5. When installing crossbeam shelves, it is important to note that locking devices must be provided at both ends of each crossbeam, or screws and nuts must be provided for fastening, so that the crossbeam can be stably fixed on the column to prevent detachment due to upward external forces. To ensure the connection between the crossbeam and its locking device, the normal operation of the crossbeam lock or the tightening of screws and nuts should be regularly checked during use, and damaged devices should be replaced in a timely manner.
6. The base of the shelf column should be correctly fixed on the concrete. It is necessary to clarify whether the connection method between the shelves and the ground is to use embedded parts, secondary pouring scheme, or chemical bolts directly connected to the ground. The diameter of bolts and the smaller embedded size must be determined through calculation based on actual loads, seismic loads, or wind loads. Small shelves with a height of less than 2.4m for manual loading may not be fixed. The concrete for the foundation of fixed shelf columns must be connected and cured for 28 days, and bear the corresponding pressure. The uneven settlement of the foundation must meet the requirements for use.
7. When installing shelves, multiple permanent signs must be placed prominently on the shelves. Each sign should clearly indicate the carrying capacity of each unit, the larger carrying capacity of each layer, and the number of units allowed to be stored in each compartment.
